One of the many success stories of the Arsenal academy last season, Kieran grabbed the attention of Arsenal fans with his performances in the FA Youth Cup Semi Final against Manchester United.
In the first leg he scored the only goal of the game in front of 38,187 supporters at Emirates Stadium. In the return fixture he again found the back of the net and was unfortunate to finish on the losing side. Kieran, who can operate in either central midfield or wide on the left, made 23 appearances for the Under-18s last season, scoring nine times. He also made nine reserve-team appearances and was named on the bench for the first team’s final Premiership game of the season at Portsmouth.
The youngster has since made his first-team bow, as a substitute in the first friendly of the 2007/08 season - a 2-0 win at Barnet. His performance earned him his first start under Arsène Wenger when Arsenal defeated Inter Milan 2-1 in the inaugral Emirates Cup.
